SHOCKING!! Burglar Electrocuted While Trying To Steal Wire During Power Interruption (Graphic Photos)

A boy was discovered hanging dead by a high tension pole while supposedly attempting to steal electrical wire in Makera Housing estate along Daura roadway in Katsina state earlier today. The deceased was apparently found dead hanging on the pole by citizens of the location early morning of Friday. It is thought that the suspect met his death as a result of power transmission by the Power Holding Company at around 4am. Already, men of the Police force in the state had taken the corpse of the deceased for further investigation. No family has claimed the body of the deceased as at the time of filing this report. This comes barely 2 months after another man was found death while trying to steal transformer parts in the same area.

200 Level Student Who Went Missing Found Beaten To Death In Uyo (Photo)

A young man has been killed by unknown assailants who attacked him days ago in Uyo, Akwa Ibom state capital. It was gathered that the deceased identified as Gaston Godswill, a 200-level student of the Department of Marketing, University of Uyo, was ambushed and beaten to death after going missing for about three days. His disappearance was announced online as efforts to locate him was in progress before he was found dead with bruises all over his body, according to reports. His corpse has been deposited at a mortuary as his friends and colleagues have taken to Facebook to mourn the loss. We Won’t Be Intimidated By FG’s ‘No Work No Pay’ Policy – Group

In a statement issued by its National President, Nuhu Ogirima on Friday, the group, however, said it will not be intimidated by the decision. 36 Pupils Pregnant At A School In South Africa, 31 Living With HIV

The Health MEC in Limpopo, South Africa, Phophi Ramathu has called on communities to support pupils living with the virus so that they do not default on their treatment. Phophi Ramathu (pictured) has revealed that there are 36 pupils pregnant at one school around the Mulenzhe village. The MEC who visited schools in the village ahead of matric examinations, also said said there was also an increase in new HIV infections at both primary and secondary schools. Ramathu said 31 pupils between the age of nine and 19 were now living with the virus and she called upon the community to join forces in supporting them so that they do not default on their treatment. Gunmen Kill Police Orderly, Abduct Chief, Wife.

Gunmen have killed a police orderly and abducted Mr Maiwada Galadima, Paramount Chief of Adara Chiefdom in Kachia, Kaduna State and his wife. The incident took place in Kaduna-Kachia road on Friday, Mr Ibrahim Yakubu, son in-law to the Chief, told News Agency of Nigeria (NAN). Yakubu explained that the Chief and his wife were taken away while returning to Kachia from Kaduna. “The Kidnappers stopped the Chief’s vehicle at the military check point at Idon and shot his Police Orderly. “Immediately, they took the Chief and his wife into the bush leaving behind two of his drivers, his daughter and a granddaughter,” he said. Efforts to get police confirmation proved abortive as Mr Yakubu Sabo, the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) of the Kaduna Police Command was yet to pick telephone calls.

NYSC Warns Corps Members Against Being Used By Politicians In The Oncoming Elections

The National Youth Service Corps, NYSC, has shared a statement in which it warns corps members about the murkiness of political elections, and this comes after false text messages reportedly surfaced, informing members of scheme’s political interests. In a statement shared on its website, scheme states that it remains apolitical and so expects that corps members will desist from campaigning for political parties and candidates. 32-Year-Old Man Fondles Breasts, Tricks 16-Year-Old Girl Into Sex Romp

A 32-year old man, Asiwaju Olamilekan, has landed in trouble after he tricked a 16-year old girl into sex romp by fondling her breasts and touching her private part before she became confused and he raped her. The Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, has unveiled his new wife, Olori Moronke Naomi Silekunola. The Palace confirmed that necessary rites had been fully performed for the union between Ogunwusi, who turned 44 years old on October 17, and the new bride, who is a prophetess and founder of the En-Heralds, an interdenominational ministry. Alleged Kidnap: Judge’s Absence Stalls Evans Trial

 trial of suspected kidnap kingpin, Chukwudumeme Onwuamadike, popularly known as Evans was stalled on Friday at the State High Court, Ikeja. The matter could not continue due to the absence of the presiding judge, Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo. Justice Taiwo was absent to attend an event to mark the new legal year which commenced on Monday. The case has been adjourned till November 5, 2018. Evans is facing trial alongside one other on four counts bordering on kidnapping and unlawful possession of firearms. The accused were alleged to have kidnapped one Mr Sylvanus Ahamonu, holding him hostage for at least nine weeks and collecting a ransom of $420,000 from his family.
